To study temporal qualities of kinematic motion in how a bubble bursts.

FORM INSPIRATION

Bubbles are fun, temporary bundles of joy. The semiotics of the bubble inspired me to translate that emotion in a spacial experience. 

How might we translate the joy of watching a bubble burst into an experience?

DESIGN PROCESS

The axial movement of the bursting of the bubble was studied by using high-speed cameras, sketches, and illustrative notes.

The helical edge which forms during the bursts has been translated for form development.
